Services set for M. A. Hagen

Martin A. Hagen, 62, of 123 South Duff Ave., died unexpectedly at the home of his son, Harold, 1011 Kellogg Ave., about 8:30 p.m. Sunday.

Mr. Hagen was born in rural Nevada in 1902. He had been a resident of Cambridge prior to moving to Ames in 1932. He was employed in construction work. He was a member of the Bethesda Lutheran Church.

Mr. Hagen is survived by two sons, Marvin, of Fremont, Ne., and Harold of Ames; a daughter, Mrs. Marily Markley, Route 2; a sister, Agnes, of 321 Ninth St. and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith, in 1950; by three brothers, Jeff, Elmer and Lester; a sister, Anna, and a grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday from the Adams Funeral Home, with the Rev. O. M. Severseike, pastor of the Bethesda Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Story County Memorial cemetery.
