Faye Hagen Dorsey
Dec. 25, 1903 - Aug. 11, 1992

Faye Hagen Dorsey, 88, Madrid, died Tuesday of complications of a stroke at the Madrid Home in Madrid. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home, with the Rev. James Louk of First United Methodist Church in Ames officiating. Burial will be in Ames Municipal Cemetery.

Faye Kuhn was born in Fernald to James Oscar and Anice (Apple) Kuhn. A graduate of Fernald High School, she married Elmer Hagen on Nov. 1, 1924, in Boone. Following his death on June 2, 1945, she married Roy Dorsey in Newton on July 17, 1954. He died on Feb. 22, 1971. She lived all her life in the Ames area, moving to Madrid in December 1990. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, the American Legion Auxiliary, and Daughters of the American Revolution, Sun Dial Chapter.

Survivors include two sons, Tunney Hagen of Chaska, Minn., and Donald Hagen of Bellevue, Neb.; three daughters, Connie Rasmussen of Ames, Alberta Kennedy of Kelley and Sari Olson of Ames; 25 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marie Lovejoy of Boone and Verna Parks of Nevada; and a brother, Henry Kuhn of Nevada.

She was preceded in death by her husbands; a son; a daughter; a brother; a sister; and two grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be held Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be given in care of the family.
