Old Warren Settler Dead

Ole (Brandshaug) Johnson died on Sunday, April 19, 1908 at the home of his son, Jonas, at the advanced age of nearly 85 years. The deceased was born in Norway but came to this country when yet a young man and thirty years ago settled on the farm which has since been is home, seven miles northeast of Roland.

He leaves his wife and four children, Tom, Jonas, John and Mrs. M. T. Waula, to mourn his death, besides numerous other relatives.

The funeral was held on Tuesday from East Bergen church, Rev. G. Smedal, officiating, a large number of friends being present to pay their last respects to the dead. The bereaved ones have the sympathy of a large circle of friends in their hour of sorrow.
