Death Visits Several Homes

Mrs. O. O. Thompson

On Friday, March 6, 1908 occurred the sad death of Mrs. Berthe O. Thompson at the home of her mother, Mrs. B. Fagerland, at McCallsburg, after an attack of acute rheumatism of less than two weeks duration. The deceased was born in Norway, November 10, 1881, and was 27 years, 3 months and 25 days old at the time of her death.

When a child, she came to this country and lived in Roland until a few years ago. On Sept. 21, 1901, she was united in marriage to Oscar O. Thompson, of this place, to which union three children were born, who with their father are now left to mourn her death. Besides these, she leaves her mother and three brothers.

The funeral was held from Bergen church, Monday afternoon, Rev. Smedal officiating. Interment took place in the Roland cemetery. The sorrowing ones have the sincere sympathy of a large circle of friends.
