John Gittleson was born on March 1, 1831, in Norway and died at his home north of McCallsburg on Tuesday, January, 14, 1909 being 77 years, 10 months and 18 days. The deceased was a prominent member of East Bergen church, near which he has lived for many years. The funeral takes place today from East Bergen church, Rev. Smedal officiating.
