BOY DIED MONDAY
Severt Virgil Britson, only son of Mr. and Mrs. S. O. Britson, died at his home at 2:00 o'clock Monday morning following a long illness caused by a tumor on the brain. The parents took the boy to the university hospital at Iowa City last April for treatment, but an operation was not advisable and there was nothing that could be done to give him relief.
He was born on March 15, 1919, at Goodell, Iowa, and the following year came with his parents to Roland, where he has since lived. He died August 22, 1932, at the age of 13 years, 5 months and 7 days. He leaves his parents and two sisters, Cleopha and Leeffia.
The funeral will be held this afternoon at 1:30 at the residence and at 2:00 o'clock in Bergen church, with Rev. M. O. Sunstad in charge. Interment will be made in the Roland cemetery. The pall bearers are Donald Rod, Richard Snyder, Phillip Cole, Wilford Childers, Mervin Sampson and Arthur Ersland.
