Bryan (BJ) Paul Strum, 20, born November 21, 1988, passed from this life on August 11, 2009. He was the second of three children of Brian K. Strum and Dawn M. Freeman.

Bryan enjoyed skateboarding, boxing, hanging with friends and making those around him laugh. He was loved by all that knew him and will be greatly missed. Bryan was a wonderful son and a great friend.

Bryan is survived by his father, Brian (Angela) Strum; his mother Dawn (Tony) Freeman; his brother Christopher (Karly) Strum-Ortega; sisters Kristena and Ashley; grandparents, Paul (Paula) Strum, great-grandmother, Dorothy Pierce; aunt Amy (Rod) Brause; cousins, Shelby and Amanda; and numerous cousins and other relatives in his great extended family.

Bryan was laid to rest on Saturday, August 15th, 2009, at Emerald Hills Cemetery in Kennedale, Texas.
