THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Tuesday, June 9, 2009.

Karleigh Marie Hobart, 10 months, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2009 at the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City of complications from a bone marrow transplant. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 11, at Cornerstone Church on Highway 65 south of Zearing. Her funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 12, at Cornerstone Church, with burial in Lincoln Township Cemetery in Zearing.

Karleigh Marie Hobart was born July 18, 2008, in Ames, to her parents, Al and Diane (Davis) Hobart, of Zearing.

She is survived by her parents; four sisters, Alyssa Hobart, of Albia, Ashley Hobart, of Moravia, and Dana Baker and Kayla Baker, both at home; two brothers, Collen Hobart and Riley Hobart, of Roland; her paternal grandfather, Robert Hobart Sr., of Centerville; maternal grandparents, Duane and Kathy Davis, of Clemons; and her great-grandparents, John and Lorraine Davis, of Clemons, and Russell and Wilma Geddes, of Melbourne.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Mary Hobart.
