Michael C. Chitty

Michael C. Chitty, 17, of Nevada died Tuesday morning at his home.

Chitty had lived in Nevada his entire life.

He is survived by his parents, Charles and Rosella Chitty of Nevada; by two brothers, Martin and Matthew of Nevada and by his two grandmothers, Mrs. Everett King of Bussey, Iowa and Mrs. Russell J. Chitty of Lake Stevens, Wash.

Chitty was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Russell J. Chitty and Everett E. King.

Services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Nevada with Rev. Marvin L. Hulse officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memory Gardens at Nevada.

Friends may call at the Ryan Funeral Home until noon Friday.

The family reports that a memorial fund has been established for the Story County Care Facility.
