Ida May Williams

Ida May Williams, 73, of Nevada died Monday at Oak Park Manor Nursing Home in Nevada.

Born to Charles Samuel and Mary Belle Mitchell Townsend of Nevada, she was a lifelong resident of the community and a member of the Christian Church.

She is survived by her brother I. N. Townsend of Nevada, and sisters Mary Sowers of Fernald and Pearl Deal of Ames.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence, who died in 1973, and her parents, a brother and a sister.

The Ryan Funeral Home reports that graveside services will be held at the Evergreen Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nevada Thursday, October 26 at 11 a.m.

Pastor Eugene Vacek will perform the ceremony.
