Charles N. Wilson Sept. 12, 1920, to Oct. 8, 1990
Charles N. Wilson, 70, of Nevada died of cancer Oct. 8 at Story County Hospital.
He was born in Collins to Ralph T. and Elsie M. (Raether) Wilson. He moved to Nevada from Collins in 1937 and married Anna M. Casperson on Feb. 21, 1948, in Unionville, Mo. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a custodian at Donnelley Marketing in Nevada, retiring in 1982. He was a member of American Legion Post 48 in Nevada, Moose Lodge 520 in Ames and Nevada Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include his wife; two sisters, Dorothy M. Casperson and Geneva Hodges, both of Nevada; one daughter, Sarah S. Ness of Lexington, Mo.; and two grandchildren.
Visitation was held Oct. 11 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Cooper-Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada with the family present from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Services will be Oct. 12 at 10 a.m. at Nevada Assembly of God Church with burial in Evergreen Memeorial Gardens.
