Harold Hall May 12, 1913 to Jan. 8, 1993

Harold John Hall, 79, of Colo died of pneumonia at Story County Hospital, Nevada.

He was born to LeRoy and Bertha (Glasscow) Hall at Maxwell. He married Betty Jean Higgs on Aug. 24, 1946, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. A longtime resident of Colo, he was a retired bus driver for the Colo Community School District. He was a member of the U.S. Army and of the American Legion Post #139 at Colo.

Survivors include his wife, Betty, of Colo; one son, Michael John of Colo; one daughter, Marilyn Joy Charlet of Perry; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Hazel Williams of Nevada and Margaret Landsdown of El Cajon, Calif.; one brother, Forrest of San Diego, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and one brother.

Funeral services were held Monday at Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada with Pastor Jack D. Weida officiating. Burial was at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Nevada.
