Betty Jean Hall July 24, 1924, to August 30, 1994

Betty Jean Hall, 70, of Colo, died of cancer at her daughter's home in Des Moines.

She was born to Vern and Ester (Pedersen) Higgs in Minneapolis, Minn. On August 24, 1946, she married Harold J. Hall at the little Brown Church in Nashau. A homemaker, she had been a resident of Colo for 45years.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Colo and the Aglow Women's Christian Group. She had attended the Boone Bible College in Boone.

Survivors include one son, Michael Hall of Colo, one daughter, Marilyn Charlet of Des Moines; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Barbra Sterling of Monroe.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold, in January of 1993, and one sister.

Funeral services were held Saturday, September 3, at Chet Ryan Mortuary, Nevada, with Pastor Jack O. Welda of United Methodist Church, Colo officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Memory Gardens, Nevada.
