Cecil C. Goosic, 74, of Nevada, died at his home Friday, Feb. 10, 1984.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, at the Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada with Rev. Ernest Larson of the United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be at the Evergreen Memory Garden, Nevada.

Cecil Goosic was born on Sept. 17, 1909, to Bert A. and Grace Alice (Gilchriest) Goosic in Beaver City, Nebr. He was educated in the Beaver City Schools.

He married Fae L. Lemonds on Sept. 17, 1936 in Lincoln, Nebr. They moved to the Nevada area in 1943, where Cecil Goosic farmed and was employed by Graphic Forms before retiring in 1977. Fae Goosic died in 1979.

Cecil Goosic is survived by one son, LeRoy of Nevada; three daughters, Mrs. Larry (Helen) Nerness of Pasadena, Calif., Mrs. Ellis (Mildred) Brown of Shawnee, Okla., and Mrs. Virgil (Nancy) Reiter of Polk City; one sister, Lela Stubbs of Beaver City, Nebr.; 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, one granddaugher and three sisters.

The family will receive friends Monday night at the Ryan Funeral Home.
