Edward Ellis Weatherman, 56, of Waukee, Iowa, died May 12, 2009 at Broadlawns Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. Services were held Saturday, May 16th at the Bacon Funeral Home in Maxwell, with visitation prior to the service.

Edward was born at Greeley, Colorado on June 29, 1952 the son of Darold and Beverly (Ellis) Weatherman. He graduated from Ballard High School in 1970. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and motorcycling.

He is survived by one daughter: Amy and her three children of Grinnell, Iowa; and one sister: Lora Weatherman of Waukee, Iowa.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents; one brother: Darold Weatherman; two sisters: Darla Holveck and Peggy Nelson.

Bacon Funeral Home and Crematory handled the arrangements.
