Services set for Mrs. Ethel Burnett

Mrs. Robert (Ethel) Burnett

Services will be held Wednesday, February 19, 1:30 p.m. from the Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada for Mrs. Robert (Ethel) Burnett, 52, of Nevada who died Sunday morning at the Story County Hospital where she had been for the past six months. The Rev. D. W. Edwards will officiate with burial in the Evergreen Memory Gardens.

Born Sept. 17, 1922, in Story County to Marion and Hester Stevenson, she lived in Story County her entire life. She married Robert L. Burnett on October 16, 1939 in Marshalltown and was a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors include: her husband, Robert; her mother, Mrs. Hester Stevenson of Nevada; a son, Steven R. of Nevada; two daughters: Mrs. Ronald (Rita) Gehrts of Irving, Texas and Mrs. Robert (Kathy) Walker of Nevada; eight grandchildren and one great-grandson; two sisters: Mrs. Dorothy Schnormeier of Ames and Mrs. Mary Boston of Corpus Christy, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her father, and an infant brother.

A memorial fund has been established.
