Gladys T. Carsrud April 1, 1913 - March 4, 1995

Gladys T. Carsrud, 81, of Nevada, died Saturday of heart failure at Mary Greeley Medical Center. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Memorial Luthern Church in Nevada, with the Rev. Ellen Taube officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada Municipal Cemetery.
Gladys T. Kallis was born in Watertown, S.D. to Otto and Minnie (Zamow) Kallis. She married Ernest Carsrud on March 23, 1935, in Brookings, S.D. She had been a resident of Nevada since moving there from South Dakota in 1942.
A 1931 graduate of Thomas High School, Thomas, S.D. she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Memorial Lutheran Church in Nevada and had been involved in the Esther Circle at the Memorial Lutheran Church. She had also been a Sunday School teacher, and a member of the Richland Garden Club.
She is survivied by her husband, Ernest Carsrud of Nevada; one son, Dale Carsrud of Mesa, Ariz.; one daughter, Linda Griffith of Nevada; three grandsons; and one granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by one brother.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 8:30 p.m., with the family present from 7 to 8:30 p.m., at the Cooper-Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada.
