THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Tuesday, April 14, 2009.

George J. Satre, 86, of Chapel View Care Center in Hopkins, Minn., died Saturday, April 11, 2009. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 18, at Family of Christ Lutheran Church in Chanhassen, Minn.

Survivors include two loving daughters, Pamela Satre (Michael Funck), of Prior Lake, Minn., and Jolene Satre (Dana Benson), of Chanhassen, Minn.; beloved granddaughter, Madeline Benson, of Chanhassen; sisters-in-law, Helen (Ardis) Johnson and Edie (Gene) Demaray, both of Story City; and nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Bertas Funeral Home of Chaska, Minn., assisted with arrangements.
