MARY BRAND, COLO PIONEER, IS DEAD

COLO—Mrs. Mary Brand, 84, pioneer woman died at her home here Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Brand had been sick with flue for several days. No funeral arrangements had been made Thursday.

Her husband died several years ago and a step-daughter, Fannie Smith and an only brother, Charles Shepard, died a year ago. There are no other survivers.

Mr. and Mrs. DeHart had lived in the home and assisted Mrs. Brand during the past year.
