TIFFANY, PIONEER COLLINS MAN, DIES
COLLINS—Lincoln Tiffany, 75, a pioneer resident of Clear Creek township, Jasper county, died at his home southeast of Collins Monday evening. Death followed a brief illness after an attack of the flu and was very unexpected. Mr. Tiffany died ou the farm on which he was born.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 p. m. at the Ashton chapel where Mr. Tiffany had worshiped during his entire life. The burial will be on the family burying plot nearby.
Lincoln Tiffany was born August 18, 1861, a son of Sylvester and Emma Tiffany, Clear Creek township pioneers.
In 1882 he married Miss Ella Stock of the same neighborhood. One of their five children, Emma, died in 1907. Mrs. Tiffany died in 1934.
Those surviving are one daughter, Clara, at home, and three sons, Ray and Joe of Collins and Carl of Colfax.
