MRS. O. VANGNESS DIES AT STORY CITY

STORY CITY - Mrs. Osmond Vangness, 74, died at her home in Story City, Tuesday at 4 p. m. She had been ill for eight months with a cancer.

Mrs. Vangness had lived in Story City for the past ?? years and before that had lived on a farm three miles northeast of Story City.

The funeral will be held Friday with a prayer service at the family home at 1:30 and services at the St. Petri Lutheran church, with the Rev. W. ?. Scarvie in charge, at 3 p. m. Burial will be in the Story City cemetery.

Mrs. Vangness is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Twedt of Jewell and Rachael of Story City; and two sons, Jacob of West Concord, Minn., and Oscar of Story City.
