Julia E. Johnson, 83, of Story City died of a heart attack Wednesday in Ridgeland, Wis. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Grace Methodist Church in Story City, with burial at Story City Cemetery.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Saskatchewan, Canada, and had lived in Story City since 1974. She was a retired postal worker and was a member of Church of God of Prophecy in Story City.

Survivors include three sons, Douglas Goins of Mount Pleasant, Texas, Richard Goins of Eugene, Ore., and Chuck Goins of San Diego; two sisters, Alma Merkel of Houston and Hazel Braland of Story City; 13 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home in Story City.
