MARTIN ANDERSON OF SHELDAHL DIES

SHBLDAHL — Martin Anderson, 43, died at the Broadlawns hospital in Des Moines Monday noon following a brief illness with pneumonia. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon from the Sheldahl church with the Rev. Mr. Kemp, pastor of the Grand View Lutheran church of Des Moines and the Rev. G. C. Swain of the Methodist church here, in charge of services. Burial will be in the Sheldahl cemetery.

The deceased was a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson of Sheldahl. He grew to manhood in this community and was married in 1918 to Johanna Peterson. The couple resided on a farm near Sheldahl prior to moving to Des Moines where Mr. Anderson had been employed.

Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Maxine and Darlene, three sons, Lester, Dean and Palmer, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson, three sisters, Mrs Margaret Seitz of Madrid, Mrs. Mabel Meyers, Mrs. Anna Sheldahl, of Sheldahl and seven brothers, Alex of Seattle, Wash., Andrew of Estherville, Henry and Harold of Chicago, Rudolph rf Slater, Edwin of Madrid and Cedric of Sheldahl.
