Mrs. Lyda Jacques Of Nevada Dead Of Heart Disease

NEVADA — Mrs. Lyda LeGore Jacques, 77, died at the home of Mrs. H. G. Ambrose Thursday morning. Death was caused by heart disease.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10:30 from the Bishop funeral home with the Rev. C. D. Loose, pastor of the First Methodist church here in charge. Burial will be in the Nevada cemetery.

Mrs. Jacques was born Lyda Harned, April 2, 1858. in New Bedford, Ind. eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Harned. Her father was a Methodist minister.

She came with her parents to Jefferson where her pastor was a minister. She her home there until a young woman when she moved to Des Moines where she resided with her parents until 22 years ago when she came to Nevada. She has since made her home with her daughter Mrs. Ambrose.

Mrs. Jacques was active in the affairs of the Nevada Episcopal church and a member of the Loyal
Sisters' Sunday school class. She was also a member of Chapter AM of the P. E. O. statehood.

Surviving are three sons, Ralph S. Glover of San Francisco, Cal., J. T. LeGore of Des Moines and W. H. LeGore of Los Angeles, Cal., and one daughter, Mrs. Stella Ambrose of Nevada.
