MRS. ESTHER MALLOY SUCCUMBS AT COLLINS

COLLINS—Mrs. Esther J. Malloy, 76, died early Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs, A. L. Pitcher here after an illness of seven months. Funeral arrangements are not completed as relatives are awaiting word from a daughter in California. They probably will be held Saturday. Burial will be in the Riverside cemetery at Marshalltown by the side of her husband who died in 1921.

Mrs. Malloy was born in Richland, Ia., April 17, 1859, daughter of John and Hannah Moody-Welch. She was married to Martin J. Malloy of State Center.

Since the death of her husband she had spent her time with her daughters and last August came to Collins to be with Mrs. Pitcher.

Surviving children are Lucile Pitcher of Collins, Frances Harris of Armstrong, Paul Malloy of Lemmon, S. D., and Harriet Craughan of Costa Nesa, Cal.
