THE AMES TRIBUNE AND TIMES, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Monday, January 13, 1936.

Mrs. Vickery Dies Saturday; Services Mon.

Mrs. Minnie N. Vickery, 68, 303 East avenue, died at 10:15 p. m. Saturday at the Mary Greeley hospital. She had been ill at the hospital since Jan. 3.

Mrs. Vickery was born in Germany, Feb. 21, 1868, but, with her parents, moved to Clinton county at the age of two. She was married in 1889 to Harlow Vickery at DeWitt. The Vickerys came to Ames in 1914, where Mrs. Vickery was a member of the Collegiate Presbyterian church.

Surviving her are four sons, Leslie G. and John, of Ames; Percy H., Ruleton, Kan., and Care N., Boone; three daughters, Mrs. Clare Egemo. and Mrs. Grace Canfield, Ames; and Mrs. Dorothy Thomas, Omaha, Neb.

Funeral services were held at 3:30 p. m. Monday from the Adams chapel, with the Rev. Walter Barlow, pastor of the Collegiate Presbyterian church, in charge. Burial was in the Ames cemetery.
