BELLE KOOSER RITES MONDAY
Funeral services for Mrs. M. Belle Kooser will be held at 1:30 p. m. Monday at the Adams funeral home. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove cemetery. Rev. Robert Pinnell will officiate.

Mrs. Kooser, who lived at 803 Northwestern, passed away Feb. 16. She has been a resident of Ames for more than 50 years.

Mrs. Kooser, as a young woman came to Ames to serve the community as a member of the nursing profession.

A lifetime member of the First Methodist church and always active in church affairs. She was a member of the Daughters of Union Veterans for the past 35 years and served as a past tent president and a past department president in that organization.

A son, Edgar T. Kooser, and his wife of Long Beach, Calif., and daughter, Mrs. Jessie Mizelle, and son, Tommie, of Verdune, France, have arrived in Ames for their mother's funeral.

Other survivors are a brother, Harold McKibben, of Waterloo, a sister, Mrs. Arthur Young, of Jessup, and several nieces and nephews many of whom reside in Ames.

Mrs. Kooser's husband, a well known interior decorator in Ames for many years, preceded her in death in 1937.
