Relative of Ames Persons Is Killed

Andrew Franklin, 54, Des Moines, who was killed about 6 p. m. Tuesday in a railroad yard in Des Moines, is the uncle of Mrs. A. I. Alcott, 430 South Franklin avenue and a brother-in-law of Mrs. Henry Scanlon, 2918 Oakland avenue, it was learned here Wednesday.

Franklin was killed Tuesday evening when he was run over-by a switch train while working in the yards.
