MRS. HALVOR ERICKSON DIES AT STORY CITY

STORY CITY — Mrs. Halvor Erickson, 95, the oldest resident of Story City, died Sunday morning about 9 o'clock at her home in Story City of pneumonia and old age. Mrs. Erickson has been bedfast and blind the past three years.
Fyneral services will be held Wednesday afternoon, at 1:30 at the home and at 2 o'clock at St Petri Lutheran church with the Rev. W. B. Scarvie in charge. Burial will be in the Story City cemetery beside her husband.
Mrs. Ericksqn was born in Stavanger, Norway and lived in Story City 44 years.
Three children and one grandchild survive. The children are: Herman Erickson of Ames, Mrs. Minnie Nichols of Story City, Mrs. Chris Halvorson of Roland.
Mrs. Nichols has been staying with her mother. Mrs. Erickson maintained her own home.
