Mary Jane Lough, 96, of Nevada, died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008, at Story County Long Term Care. Graveside memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, at Nevada Municipal Cemetery, with Pastor Steve Williams officiating. Burial of the cremains of her sister, Betty, will be held at the same time.
Jane was born Jan. 18, 1912, in Nevada, to Samuel Guy and Ella Mae (Brooks) Lough. She was a 1930 graduate of Nevada High School. She was employed as a cashier at Nevada National Bank. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Nevada, Beta Sigma Phi and Iowa Bankers Association. She enjoyed shopping for antiques and collectibles.
She is survived by numerous cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother; and one sister, Betty, on Feb. 26, 2008.
Memorials may be directed to Story County Long Term Care in Nevada.
