Tessie Lowe, 92, of Slater, died Saturday, Aug. 30, at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames.
Tessie was born in New York, where she was raised and educated. Tessie and her husband, Franklin, moved from New York to Slater in 1981.

She is survived by her son, Frank (Dorothy) Lowe, of New York; son-in-law, Robert Hill, of Warsaw, Mo.; grandchildren, Tim (Lori) Hill, of Cambridge, and Chris (Jeannie) Hill, of Perry; four great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin, in 1995; and daughter, Dorothy Hill, in 1982.
