Former Ames Man Dies at Sac City

William H. Heacock, 91 for many years a resident of Ames, died at the home of his son, Howard, at Sac City on March 8, according to word received here Saturday.

Mr. Heacock was a veteran of the Civil war, having served with the first Indiana cavalry. At the time of his death he was the oldest veteran in Sac county.
