MRS. MARY HERTZ DIES IN KANSAS

Mrs. Mary Hertz, former resident of Ames, died at the home of her son, H. P. Hertz at Hutchison, Kan., Saturday night.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at the Adams chapel with burial in the Ames cemetery. The Rev. L. Myron Boozer will probably conduct the services.

Mrs. Hertz went to Kansas in December. Prior to that time she had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Edna Paley at 924 Fifth street, following the death of her husband, Henry F. Hertz, about a year ago.

Besides the daughter here and the son in Kansas another son, A. L. Hertz is somewhere in the Canal Zone and a daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Leffingwell lives at Rockford, Ill.
