Mrs. D. Guy Welty Rites Held Today

NEVADA, Jan. 8, - Funeral services for Mrs. D. Guy Welty, 49, who died Monday evening, were held at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon at the Central Presbyterian church. Dr. R. M. Shipman of Boone, conducted the services, assisted by the Rev. W. O. Benthin. Burial will be in the Colo cemetery. The Order of Eastern Star assisted with the services.

Mrs. Welty died about 9 o'clock of tuberculosis. She had been in failing health for some time. Mrs. Welty spent most of her life in Nevada. She was a past worthy matron of the Eastern Star.

Besides her husband, three children survive. They are: Mrs. Helen Schiegel of Chicago, Ill.; Mrs. Madge McClain of Nevada, and Wayne, a student at Iowa State college.
