JOHN L. BACKOFF

John L. Backoff, 72, passed away Sunday at the Albert Birchmier home where he made his home.

He is survived by his sister, Mrs. Albert Birchmier and one brother, Joe Backoff and many nephews And nieces and a host of friends.

The Rosary will be held at p.m., at the Albert Birchmier home on Monday, Dec. 30, Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 31, at St: Mary's Catholic Church, with Fr. Francis Cassidy officiating.

The floral arrangements will be in charge of Mrs. Bonnie Birchmier, Mrs. Mary ida Birchmier and Margaret Backoff.

Casket bearers are Joseph Albert Lee, Dr. Lawrence and James Birchmier, James Backoff and Clyde Martin.

Interment will be in the St. James Cemetery at Colo.

John Backoff dies Sunday at age of 72

John Backoff, 72, Maxwell, died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Albert Birchmier, Sunday morning.

Funeral, services will be at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Colo, Tuesday at 10 a.m. with Father Francis Cassidy officiating. Burial will be at the St. James Cemetery. at Colo.

A rosary will be recited at the Albert Birchmier home at Maxwell this evening at 8 p.m.

Mr. Backoff is survived by his sister, Mrs. Birchmier, and one brother, Joe, of Nevada.

His body will be taken to the Birchmier home Monday afternoon at 3:30 p.m.
