James Atwood Funeral

Dick Atwood's little boy James died yesterday at 8 a.m. caused by peritonitus. The funeral will be a the Christian church of Collins today at 2 p.m.

Obituary

James Hosie Atwood was born at Mingo and died at Valeria Sept. 28, 1911, age 14 yrs., 9 months and 14 days. Death was froth peritonitis. He leaves father and mother, two sisters and one brother to mourn their grevious loss.

A short service was held at the home and the public funeral was at Christian Church of Collins last Thursday afternoon, Rev. Williams of Mingo officiating. The interment was in Collins Cemetery.

James was a very ambitious boy and was dearly loved by his parents, his sisters and brother and other relatives and friends.
