Ex-Collins, Maxwell Man Dies Sunday

A former Collins and' Maxwell resident, Wyatt B. Angelo, 80, died at Picayune, Miss., Sunday night after a lingering illness.

He is survived by his wife, Freda; son John and four grandchildren of Hillsdale, Ill.

Funeral will be. Wednesday at 2 p .m. in the C. W. Kimberley home south of Collins. Burial will be in Peoria Cemetery near Collins. The Rev. DeLos Markin of Des Moines will be in charge.

The body will be at Brouhard Funeral Home, Zearing, until 9 a. in. Wednesday.

Mr. Angelo was the only son of the late Ada and Kimberley Angelo of Maxwell.

WYATT B. ANGELO LAID TO REST

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the country home of Mrs C. W. Kimberley for Wyatt B. Angelo, who died at his home in Picayune, Miss., Monday, April 29.

Rev. DeLoss Marken of Des Moines was officiating minister. The flowers were many and beautiful and were cared for by Mrs Don Maxwell and Mrs N. H. Brinkman. Casket bearers were Harold Kimberley, John I. Kimberley, Charles Carr, Charles B. Kimberley, Fred Kimberley and Charles W. Swalwell. Interment was in Peoria cemetery south of Maxwell, with Brouhard funeral directors of Zearing in charge.

Life Sketch

Wyatt Burwell Angelo, son of John B. and Ada Kimberley Angelo, was born in a log cabin on the home farm in northwest Jasper county near Collins on November 5, 1876, and died April 29, 1957. He was of a pioneer family, going to a rural school nearby and later graduating from Maxwell High school and from Drake Law school, Des Moines. He was a member of the bars of Iowa. Illinois and Wisconsin, and at the time of his death was vice president and council for the Southern Mineral corporation.

During World War I; he served on the National War Labor Board.

Mr Angelo is survived by his widow, Sada Angelo; his son John B. Angelo, and four grandchildren of Hinsdale
