Wayde Sowers Died At Veterans' Hospital

Wayde Sowers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Sowers, former Story county people, died of tuberculosis at the Veterans hospital at Sawtelle, Calif., Tuesday, according to word received by Nevada friends fromt the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Ferguson of Oakland.
Mr. and Mrs. Sowers lived on a farm just south of Iowa Falls on the Jefferson highway for a number of years but left Iowa a few years ago for California and have since been at Oakland. The young man contracted tuberculosis while in the service and spent some time in New Mexico, in an effort to throw off the attack of the White Plague, but with apparently no success.
