Milo Hadley, 83, of rural Nevada died of congestive heart failure at Story County Hospital Long Term Care Unit, Nevada.
He was born to William and Susan (Hanson) Hadley at Thor. He graduated from Eagle Grove High School. He lived most of his adult life in Story County, farming in the Milford Township area until his retirement in 1975. He married Helen Rowene Binder. He was a member of the Story County Farm Bureau and had served on the Milford School Board.
Survivors include two sons, Wilbert of Nevada and Peter of Plyumouth, Minn.; two grandchildren; one great-grandson; and two sisters, Ruth Alleman of Ames and Hope Hanson of Santa Rosa, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Helen in 1969 and one grandson, John Hadley in 1991.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Chet Ryan Mortuary, Navada, with Pastor Michael Bremer officiating.---from the Nevada Journal
