Mrs. Selma E. Larson, 85, of rural Story City, died Friday, August 7, 1981 at the Story City Hospital. Funeral services were held Monday, August 10, at 1:30 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Ellsworth, with burial in the Mamreland Cemetery, Randall.
Mrs. Larson was born July 20, 1896, the daughter of Stone and Julia Charleson. She was baptised and confirmed at the North St. Petri Lutheran Church, Story City. On Feb. 26, 1919, she married Oscar Larson. All of her life was lived in the Story City-Ellsworth area.
She is survived by her husband; three sons, Donald and Clifton of Ellsworth and David of Hawaii; a daughter, Beverly Isvik of Jewell; 14 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 10 brothers and two sisters.
The Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home, Story City, was in charge of arrangements.
