Bill Hodgson, 41, of Denver, Col. died Sunday, May 24, 1981, at his home in Denver.
He was born June 22, 1939, in Newton, Iowa, the son of George and Geraldine Harrison Hodgson. He was a 1957 graduate of Milford Township School.
His wife, Virginia Riddler, was killed in a train-auto accident in 1962 and he had been married to Viola Kemmerer for 18 years. He was a carpet and floor covering layer in the family business before moving to Denver in 1967, where he continued his trade.
He is survived by a son, Dennis, of Nevada; two daughters, Denise Hodgson and Shiloh Hodgson of Denver, Col.; a brother, Rick of Fernald; two sisters, Irene Howard of Nevada and Kathy Fitzgerald of Gilbert; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Hodgson of Fernald.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 29 at 11 a.m. at the Ryan Funeral Home, Nevada, with Rev. Oliver E. Johnson of McCallsburg Bethany Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will follow at the Nevada Cemetery.
