Bryan J. Jensen, 26, died Tuesday, April 29. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 3, at Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, May 2.

Bacon Funeral Homes and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Feb. 17, 1982-April 29, 2008

Bryan J. Jensen, 26, of Ames, died Tuesday, April 29, of injuries from an automobile accident. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 3, at Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada. Inurnment will be at 2:45 p.m. Saturday, May 3, in Ames Municipal Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, May 2, at Bacon Funeral Home.

Bryan was born Feb. 17, 1982, in Ames, the son of Bob and Cyndi (Radosevich) Jensen. He graduated from Nevada High School in 2000 and attended one year of college. He worked as a dispatcher for Kid Money Trucking.

He was active in high school FFA and was a former member of the Nevada Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed being with his friends, four-wheeling, motorcycles and cooking for "Food at First" at First United Methodist Church in Ames. He enjoyed sarcasm and had a dry sense of humor. He enjoyed giving of his time and was awarded the Ames "Youth Volunteer of the Year" award in 2007.

He is survived by his father, Bob J. (Penny) Jensen, of Nevada; his mother, Cyndi Jensen, of Nevada; one brother, Kelly Puffer, of Princeton, Minn.; two sisters, Angie (Chris) Hendricks, of Longview, Texas, and Cami (Jason) Oakes, of Minneapolis; his paternal grandfather, Melvin Jensen, of Winterset; his maternal grandparents, Fred and Betty Radosevich, of Ames; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby John Jensen Jr., in 1981; and his grandmother, Ruby E. Jensen.

Memorials may be given to the Pediatric Cardiac Unit at University Hospital in Iowa City.
