Mary Schwartz, 56, of Stanhope, died Monday, April 21, at Israel Family Hospice House. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at Adams Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Mary Ellen Schwartz, 56, of Stanhope, died Monday, April 21, at Israel Family Hospice House. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at Adams Funeral Home, with the Rev. Michael Herschberger officiating. Burial will be in Story Memorial Garden Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Mary Ellen Schwartz was born Feb. 20, 1952, in Yankton, S.D., to John and Eleanor (Schieffer) Jocoby. She married Curtis Schwartz May 31, 1969. She was a homemaker and enjoyed flowers, sewing and her family.

She is survived by her husband, Curtis; one daughter, Carolyn (Randy) Wheeler; one son, Chad Schwartz; two sisters, Eloise (John) Haptonstall and Karen (Ron) Klink; two brothers, Robert Jocoby and James Jocoby; and one grandson, Paul Wheeler.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
