Corrine Ellen Eischen, 88, of Story City, died Sunday, March 2, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 6, at Bethany Manor Chapel in Story City. Burial will be in Roland Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, at Soderstrum Funeral Home in Story City.

Corrine Ellen Eischen was born May 4, 1919, in Union County, to Robert and Jessie (Patrick) Copper. She married Leo Eischen March 2, 1940. He died March 31, 1987.

She is survived by three sons, Bob, of Roland, Jack, of Wisconsin, and Ed, of Eldora; one daughter, Marlene Fairchild, of Ames; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Roberta Wasserman, of Colorado Springs, Colo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one sister; and two brothers.
