There will be a fellowship time following the service for everyone to share their favorite memories.

Burial will be in Olathe Cemetery in Olathe, Colo.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at Stark-Welin Chapel in Boone. Visitation will continue from 5:30 p.m. until the time of service Friday at the church.

Tracy Lee Chinery was born April 24, 1998, in Glenwood Springs, Colo., to Colin L. Chinery and Donna M. Lawton.

He was a fourth-grade student this year at United Community School in Boone. He enjoyed riding his horse, Bob, on trail rides with his mom, Mary Beth, watching the "Dukes of Hazzard" with his dad, spending the weekend at Grandpa Pat's, going to the park with Grandma Rita and chasing his twin brothers around the house. Daily, he took his dog, Lady, for a walk past his first real girlfriend's house, whom he talked about nonstop.

He recently had taken an interest in "caving" with a group of school friends. Anything he could do outdoors or with other people made him very happy. He was passionate about anything related to police or emergency services and wanted to be a firefighter/EMT just like his dad.

He was a member of the Washington Happenings 4-H Club of Story County, a Webelo I with Cub Scout Troop #140 in Ames and a frequent camper at Camp Hantesa.

Survivors who were blessed to share his short but jubilant life include his loving parents, Colin and Mary Beth Chinery, of Ames, and Donna Aldridge, of Grand Junction, Colo.; twin brothers, Thomas "Tommy" and Torin, of Ames; a sister, Tiffany Burch, of Grand Junction, Colo.; a sister, Tessa Chinery, of Sheridan, Wyo.; a brother, Travis "T.J." Zigmond, of LaVernia, Texas; grandparents, Ralph E. "Pat" III and Rita Patterson, of Ames, and Alvin Lawton, of Craig, Colo.; great-grandmother, Beverly Patterson, of Des Moines; and many other family members and friends who will miss him more than words can express.

He was preceded death by his grandparents, Marion "Bud" and Lorna Chinery, and Alfreda "Kitty" Lawton; great-grandparents, Ralph E. "Pat" Patterson Jr., and Charles and Esta Blauvelt; an uncle, Stephen Chinery; an aunt, Susan Chinery; and a cousin, Shane Gaulke.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be sent to South Story Bank, 101 Main St., Slater, IA, 50244, in his memory. Memorials will be donated to his favorite youth organizations.
