TRI COUNTY TIMES, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, February 7, 2008.

David B. Gibbons of Temple, TX formerly of Alleman, went to be with his Lord & Savior January 9, 2008. Services were held in Texas January 12, 2008. Pastor Gary DeSalvo of Temple Bible Church, where David attended, officiated. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple. Mr. Gibbons died Wed, January 9, 2008 at a local Temple hospital of heart failure.

David was born in Fort Dodge, IA to Howard & Grace (Canfield) Gibbons. He grew up around the Alleman area and graduated from North Polk High School and later A.I.B. He lived in Temple, TX for over 20 years and was employed by PRG Schultz. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Kay Gibbons. He is survived by daughters Jana (Travis) Lively of College Station, TX, Krista Dustin) Beyer of Slater, a son Brian Gibbons of Ankeny, his parents Howard and Grace Gibbons of Huxley, a brother, Robert (Marilyn) Gibbons of Ames, sisters Kathy (Duane) Buster of Ankeny, and Dixie Gibbons of Cincinnati, OH, 6 grandchildren and several loving nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held here at a later date. Memorials may be made to Talk About Curing Autism, P. O. Box 12409, Newport Beach, CA 92658-2409.
