Paul T. Yantis, 69, of Greeley, Colorado, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2007 at University Hospital. Services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13 at the Zion Lutheran Church. Cremation had taken place.

Tim Yantis was born Jan. 2, 1938 in rural Conrad, Iowa, to Gussie (Myers) and Paul T. Yantis.

He married Donna Feighny Dec. 31. 1993 in Greeley. He lived in Loveland from 1974 to 1993 when he moved to Greeley.

Yantis graduated from Whitten High School in Whitten, Iowa in 1956 and graduated from Drake University with music and history degrees in 1960.

Tim was the high school band instructor and Immanuel Lutheran Church choir directer here in Story City in the early 1960s. Later, he owned and operated Yantis-Anderson Clothing until moving to Colorado. He owned and operated Yantis Realty in Loveland Colorado for 11 years, and was involved in real estate since 1976.

He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Loveland and associate member of the congregations church in Greeley.

He played trombone with the Kream of the Krop, enjoyed his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and directed the Lutheran Men of Song. He belonged to Love-Air R/C Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Alene, and brothers, Marvin and John.

He is survived by his wife, Donna of Greeley, Colorado; son, Ryan Yantis and Volare of Nixa, Missouri; daughter, Jil Coday and Brian of Bear, Delaware two stepsons, James Feighny 01 Providence, Rhode Island and Michael Feighny and Jennifer of Loveland Colorado; and two sisters, Helen Collin and Mary Yantis, both of Albuquerque New Mexico. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
