Clothilda A. Sturm, 77, of Corinth, Texas, died Thursday, Jan. 24, in Denton, Texas, after a long battle with Scleroderma. A funeral mass was today at St. Mark Catholic Church in Denton, Texas, officiated by Father Tim Thompson.

Clothilda A. Sturm was born June 27, 1930, in Bessemer, Mich., to Zigismund and Kamilia Kulik Popko. She married Joseph J. Sturm Jr. June 20, 1953, in Milwaukee, Wis. She retired from the city of Corinth, where she supervised Municipal Court for 15 years. She was a charter member of St. Mark Catholic Church in Denton, where she served on many committees since 1991. Her passions were her family, her church and gardening.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph J. Sturm Jr., of Corinth; one son, Joseph Sturm III and wife Pat, of Londonderry, N.H.; four daughters, Camille Ott and husband Darryl, of Jacksonville, Fla., Patty Robertson and husband Tom, of Spring Hill, Tenn., Diane Huffman and husband Ed, of Ames, and Jacque Kilpatrick and husband Lorun, of Bedford, Texas; 15 grandchildren; and two sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Mary Lou Sturm; five sisters, and two brothers.
