Vivian Trunnell, 92, formerly of Naples, Florida and Waterloo, Iowa died Aug. 19, 2004 in Sarasota, Florida. Services and burial were held in Ellsworth, Iowa.

Vivian was born Sept. 5, 1912, in Ellsworth, Iowa to Joseph P. and Alice E. Dahl. She attended St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota and graduated from the University of Iowa College of Nursing. She was a member of the Church of the Palms Presbyterian Church in Sarasota, Florida.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Thomas L. Trunnell, M.D.; one son, Thomas N. Trunnell, M.D. of Tampa, Florida; two daughters, Susan T. Tagatz of Edina, Minnesota and Sharon T. Bonnet of Sarasota, Florida; and seven grandchildren.
