TRI COUNTY TIMES, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, August 23, 2007.

Orion Simon Kris Miller, infant son of Charles and Daphne (Thomas) Miller passed away on August 16, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

A gathering of friends was held from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Saturday, August 18 at Soderstrum-Riis Funeral Home in Slater. Burial followed in the Bethany Lutheran Church Cemetery in Kelley.

Orion will be lovingly remembered by his parents Charles and Daphne of Ames; brothers Jaymison and Tanner of Ames; grandparents Sedric Thomas of Ames, Lois (Gary) Sandstrom of Reinbeck, James Hainline of Branson, MO and Elaine Burkhead of Hollister, MO; great-grandmother Nadean Deming of Huxley; as well as several aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather William Deming.

Soderstrum-Riis Funeral Home in Slater has been entrusted with arrangements.
